Hey there, Disney-loving mamas! If you’re anything like me, planning your next Walt Disney World vacation is half joy, half juggling act. It’s quite a circus (especially when you have my kids). But with so many brand-new experiences coming to Disney World, it’s easy to feel like you’re missing out unless you’ve got the inside scoop. That’s why I’ve put together the ultimate countdown: the top 25 upcoming Disney World releases that’ll make you want to book that trip like yesterday. Without further ado, let’s jump on or magic carptes and count ’em down, shall we?
#25. Refreshed Rooms at Pop Century Resort
The rooms at Pop Century are getting a makeover! Ammd it sure is about time. This was one of the first resorts Jeff and I stayed at post-kids, and the nostalgia of those 80s-themed sections is unmatched. New rooms = less wear and tear, which my tired yet papmered mom brain appreciates.
#24. Everything Pop Dining Refresh
A Mickey sundae in a mini truck during a hot Florida day? Say no more. Just take my credit card.. A brand new food window adds fun treats and caffeine (bless), perfect for a pre-park energy boost.
#23. Jack Skellington’s Face-lift
Jack’s finally getting a less… should we say “angular” look. I’m now willing ready to brave the line again with Stevie, our little Halloween fanatic who insists on dressing as Zero every year.
#22. Return of Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli
This dish is legendary (one of my favories as a matter of fact). It’s back at California Grill and my taste buds are cheering me on. A perfect excuse for a date night with Jeff!
#21. Free Water Park Day for Resort Guests
Starting in 2025, Disney resort guests get a free water park day. That’s a win for family budgets and a blessing during Florida’s steamy summers. It’s always convenient staying at a Disney reort and it happens to be just a little more magical for the kiddos if you can swing it.
#20. Destination D23 Comes to Coronado Springs
A Disney fan convention held at one of the prettiest resorts? Count me in. I’ll be sipping coffee and watching updates roll in the air conditioning like it’s Super Bowl Sunday.
#19. New Rooms at Bay Lake Tower
Staying steps from Magic Kingdom is already dreamy and newly refurbished rooms make it even better. On a side note, if the kids are tired at the end of the night, Monorail naps = parenting pro move.
#18. Fireworks Lounge at GO82
Adults-only? Fireworks? Fancy drinks and sweet treats? I’m already texting my Disney-mom crew to book a table. I can see that credit card is going to get hit hard in 2025.
#17. Meet & Greet Return of Phineas & Ferb
Heather remembers them, Stevie’s discovering them, and Laura thinks Perry the Platypus is a duck. Family photo opportunity: unlocked!

New storyline, World of Motion vibes, and speed? It’s a perfect adrenaline rush for my thrill-loving bunch.
#15. The New Pirate Lounge: Beacon Barrel
Family-friendly drinks and bites with a pirate twist? Arrrrggggggggghhhhhh. Yes, please. Captain Mary and Rummy are already Disney icons in my book. And with most of the planet being familiar with the Pirates of the Caribbean blockbuster franchise, Pirates should make a safe and welcomed theming choice.
#14. Monsters, Inc. Coaster & Theater Show
A suspended coaster through Monstropolis and a new stage show? This land is shaping up to be a monster hit. This one won’t’ be out until 2027 but it’s never too early to plan a vacation.
#13. Mickey & Minnie Meet Together in Halloween Costumes
My camera roll is ready for this special Disney moment. Laura’s going to squeal when she sees them *together* in costume!

Elegant new bar, Victorian charm, and a nod to the old birdcage? One of my favorite Disney hotels just got better

The magic of Antonio’s rainforest room? Yes, yes, and more yes. We’re definitely going to talk about Bruno. Again, this launch date is set for 2027.
#10. Updated Buzz Lightyear Ride
New handheld blasters, interactive targets, and a sidekick named Buddy. An already fun ride is about to get better. The last time we rode it, we only had to wait 10 minutes to get on. Stevie’s competitive streak is ready to launch. Now, that I think about it, it’s already on “to infinity and Beyond.”
#9. Stormalong Bay Pool Reopens
This pool is legendary. Lazy river, sandy bottom, and now it’s reopening in time for summer 2025? Vacation made.
I’m literally counting the days down for this one.
#8. New Nighttime Parade: Starlight Dream the Night Away
A new parade filled with Disney magic? Laura’s going to be glowing more than the floats. I might cry. Again. The premiere will be on 7/20/2025.
#7. Zootopia Show at Tree of Life
Judy Hopps and biome adventures in 4D? Let’s just say this upgrade is not tough to be excited about. This one is set to launch in Winter of 2025. I will sure miss getting “stung” on a A Bugs Life, but we are all looking forward to this one too.
#6. DVC-Only Spaces at the New Lakeshore Lodge
Nature vibes and luxe touches make this resort look like a dream. DVC envy intensifies as we are not owners yet.
#5. Indiana Jones Ride in Animal Kingdom
A new story featuring Indy? Count our whole family in—Stevie already has his explorer hat ready. Coming 2027
#4. Villains Unfairly Ever After Show
Maleficent and crew telling their side of the story? It’s like Judge Judy, but make it more fun and magical. Heather’s going to be obsessed is she likes a few villains like her mama.
#3. Villains Land at Magic Kingdom
Dark castles, thorny coasters, and epic vibes? This is every tween’s goth Disney fantasy—and I’m *here* for it. Your going to wait a while for this one though. Not coming until 2029 or 2030.
#2. Piston Peak National Park Cars Land
Mountains, talking animatronics, and terrain rides? This is not Radiator Springs—it’s even cooler. My little thrill seeker, Stevie, is going to flip, and probably more than once.
#1. Pueblo Espironza Land (Encanto, Carousel, Indiana Jones)
Encanto, a wood-carved carousel, and a jungle adventure with Indy? This is Disney magic at its peak. Every single family member of our tribe is going to find something to fall in love with here. Release date 2027
